The Ares Memory mattress from Apollo is a sumptuous, double sided mattress that ensures a comfortable, refreshing sleep. It's 13.5 gauge open coil spring unit is combined with memory foam and generous layers of fillings to provide excellent support where it is needed most. The Ares Memory is finished in a 4 way stretch knitted fabric for added softness. The Ares Memory is a two sided mattress therefore requires regular turning.

Qualities of this mattress include:
• Open Coil: An open coil mattress has a spring support system of hundreds of interconnected springs joined together to make a spring bed. The interconnected springs perform as a single system, rather than each spring operating independently like with pocket springs. They have a more traditional feel than a pocket sprung mattress and can have a firmer feel for those who prefer it. Whilst not as supportive as pocket springs, open coil mattresses provide the same comfort level and are more common within standard mattresses.
• Memory Foam: Memory Foam is a type of foam that springs back to its original shape – even after long periods of use. Memory foam moulds to the natural counters of your body and provides excellent zonal support and pressure point relief. It can help with blood circulation throughout the night, allowing you to achieve a deeper and more restful sleep.

Edge support provides stable support to sit on the side of the bed, which is important for those with hip or joint pain or have a hard time getting up from a low position. The base has been constructed from solid and strong materials and timber for a robust and sturdy structure that adds reliability and durability. The base has been upholstered in a high quality House Grey fabric that keeps the base looking fresher for longer and adds a touch of style to the divan. Headboard and accessories not included in the price but may be purchased if you wish. To purchase this headboard with your bed you can do so when completing your order. The headboard will automatically be ordered in the matching colour as the base. This base comes with NO DRAWERS but a two drawer version can be found on the website. This divan base is delivered in one piece.
